It was windy yet sunny despite the heavy rain forecasts that I’d read on so many different weather websites the previous night. I started my day with a breakfast croissant at Fyra Vindar, an atmospheric café with a terrace overlooking the sea.
There is electricity in the air on a wedding morning: the bridesmaids dresses are hanging around the house while the girls are putting on their makeup; the bride’s father stands ready for anything that might need to be done, getting more nervous by the hour; the dress, the shoes, the jewellery are waiting to be put on.
