Ryōan-ji Temple & Tofukuji Temple Kyoto Couple Session

One of the top things we wanted to visit in Kyoto was its beautiful Zen temples. The Ryōan-ji Temple is maybe the most famous, known to have the most perfect Zen garden. But I admit, my favorite was the Tofukuji Temple in Kyoto, and the session we photographed there was my favorite.

Couple Session in Nara, Japan

On the second day we explored Nara. We visited several temples, including the famous Todaiji temple. But the most fun we had was feeding deer in the park. Emil was a natural, all the deer bowed to him before receiving the cookies.

Couple Session at Fushimi Inari Shrine

After spending the afternoon in Nara, we took the train to the Fushimi Inari Shrine. Sadly, we arrived a bit too late and the circuit walking up though all the red gates closed soon after we arrived. We therefore only had time to take the shorter loop. However, we did catch a phenomenal sunset light. This place is fabulous, and I long to return here one day.
