AMALIA + PYRY | 2015
Espoon Kartano Häät | Espoon Kartano Hääjuhla | Espoon Kartano Hääkuva | Lohjan Kirkko Häät | Spring Wedding
Nowadays outdoor wedding ceremonies are really popular. And while I think they are gorgeous and amazing to photograph, I am so thrilled every time I get to document a wedding in a beautiful church. And Lohjan Pyhän Laurin kirkko certainly is on of the most gorgeous old churches I have seen in Finland. Amalia and Pyry’s ceremony was breathtakingly beautiful and full of excitement.
When I met Amalia and Pyry I immediately fell in love with their story, and their ideas for the wedding. Amalia is half French, so she wanted to add a bit of a French feel to her wedding, and I think the venue they chose was just perfect for that. Espoon Kartano is a gorgeous venue for weddings. The rooms have warm colors, and the garden is simply beautiful. I very much enjoy documenting weddings here, it is one of the most relaxed wedding locations in Helsinki.
There’s many wonderful things I love about this wedding: Amilia’s dress and shoes (!!) and hairstyle, the relaxed atmosphere, the hilarious juggling show by Amalia’s step dad, Pyry just being so easy to work with for the portrait session, the church (oh, that church!), the evening vibes.
