Lilli and Heikki’s SwedishFinnish wedding took place on a private estate in southern Finland. The location and decor was full of quirky details: the fuchsia colour palette, the transparent chairs, the colourful flower decorations, the pink flamingos peeking from far behind the ceremony arch, or the attic badger with bandages over his head!

This wedding was about family and friends coming together to celebrate a talented couple. Lilli and Heikki surely know how to throw an epic party! The day started with an elegant outdoor ceremony with jazz music atmosphere. What followed was an exquisite dinning experience and touching speeches. The wedding ended with crazy dancing on 90s disco music late into the night.

Private Estate Barn Wedding

Lilli and Heikki’s wedding took place at Lilli’s family private estate in Southern Finland. This approach to weddings in Finland is definitely more unique. And private estate weddings are always original.

Family estates also give real privacy, as the location is accessible only to the bride and groom and their guests. Furthermore, private estates offer unlimited potential, allowing full creative license to add or adjust any aspect within the property lines. I was charmed by how the estate was used for Lilli and Heikki’s wedding, enhancing what is already present.
