A Short Paris Engagement Session with Astrid and Razvan. Marchés aux Puces de Saint Ouen.

Astrid and Razvan came from Belgium to Paris for a mini engagement shoot. We wanted a location that was specific to Paris, but not in a Eiffel Tower / Louvre Museum obvious kind of way.

They suggested Marchés aux Puces, a location in the north of Paris that hosts a series of antique markets with an unique atmosphere. This place brings together antique dealers, designers, artisans, book sellers and artists in an interesting industrial architecture setting.

So exciting to see these wonderful photos of us. The story of that day is memorable, the tension of you being caught in the street protests of Paris before the shooting and almost not being able to meet us, the heat, the anxiousness, then getting to know each other gradually, the wind and the rain that broke out right in the middle, and the calm and trust in the end.
