Ravintola Saaristo Wedding // Klippan Island Wedding //

On our first year anniversary my husband took me for dinner at ravintola Saaristo on Klippan island. I fell in love with this island instantly: the boat ride; the house on top of the steep hill; the clean, white, dreamy interiors; the large windows that brought in so much light. And the view.. the perfect view. The food was so delicious, now five years later I still remember the lamb I tasted there.

I had the pleasure of documenting Heli and Juho’s wedding at Saaristo there and it could not have been a more perfect day. Their wedding was a “ballerina-meets-circus-boy” theme wedding, with pastel colors and wicked details.

Heli wore a fabulous Vera Wang dress that suited her wedding theme with style. The evening featured amazing decor details, a ballet performance, delicious food and crazy awesome music. This was a day I want to go back to.
