Meggy and Anton’s smiles are infectious.

I know – this is an odd thing to say now during Covid years. However, it is so very true! I could not stop smiling on their wedding day. I smiled some more as I was editing their images and designing their wedding album. And now, as I am blogging their story, I, once again, can not stop smiling.

You can not miss their deep love for each other. It is simple and beautiful. Just as their kindness towards others, their positive approach to life, and their warm and chill attitude is dazzling.

They dream of moving to the countryside one day because their Staffordshire bull-terrier would have a happy life there.

Hirvihaaran Katano Häät

Hirvihaaran Kartano estate is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Finland. I would say it is particularly well suited for international weddings. Firstly, it is located reasonably close to Helsinki and offers comfortable accommodation. Secondly, it has a large estate with idyllic surroundings, its own tennis court, and a genuine smoke sauna. The main event room is an elegant glass pavilion, a perfect setting for wedding parties. Equally important is the dining experience, and Hirvihaaran Kartano does not disappoint.

Askolan Kirkko Häät

The wedding ceremony took place at Askola Church. First, Meggy walked in with her father, but soon after, Anton met her halfway down the aisle. In fact, this was the moment when he saw Meggy for the first time. Their smiles and emotions shined throughout the ceremony.

Meggy and Anton enjoy traveling and wine-tasting tours. In fact, their initial idea was to get married in a vineyard. However, since that wasn’t realistic for a wedding in Finland, they decided to bring the vineyard theme to the wedding. Hirvihaarnan Kartano provided the perfect setting. Their wine-tasting wedding theme was perfectly executed by the fabulous MEvent team with burgundy roses, wine-stained place cards, vine leaf designs, and grape variety table names.
