EMILIA + JANI
Järvenpään Kirkko Häät
Erkki Elomaa designed the Järvenpää Church in the 1960s. The church is located in the center of Järvenpää next to the Old Church and serves as the main church of the Järvenpää parish. In terms of style, it represents brutalist concrete architecture.
The Järvenpää Church was voted as the ugliest church in Finland by Kotimaa magazine in 2009.
I however, had a wonderful time photographing Emilia and Jani’s wedding at Järvenpää Church. If you’re getting married at Järvenpään Kirkko, don’t be shy to get in touch. I’d be stoked to cover your wedding.

“We want to give the biggest most fullest thank you to you for capturing our special day and our love.
The photos turned out so much better than I ever could have wished for. They were exactly according to my vision, which to my understanding was not the most traditional one. You were absolutely the right choice to photograph our wedding and we will speak highly and loud of your talent and obvious passion in photography.
Pictures we got are so beautiful and there are so many to choose from. They are different but have the same vibe to them which I love. I really like how you were able to find the perfect locations around and in the church. I have received to much positive feedback on these photos from friends and family.
Thank you so much, it was lovely to have you at our wedding. Thanks to you, we have the most beautiful memories as photos to look back on.”
