Carola and Calle share a beautiful story of friendship, and a journey filled with love and adventures together. Calle proposed right in front of Carola’s workplace. He planned the event as a big surprise, and indeed, even Carola’s colleagues were in on the plan.

Ravintola Paven

Carola and Calle also share a passion for the archipelago and were very happy to find Ravintola Paven. The restaurant is situated in the heart of the Espoo archipelago, on the beautiful Pentala island. In fact, Carola and Calle live not far away, and spend the summers sailing around the archipelago. This is how Paven became very special to them. Furthermore, before becoming a restaurant, this beautiful building served as a sailing pavilion.

The focus of the wedding was the time spent with family and friends. Carola and Calle truly put their hearts into the day, which was an event based on nothing to do with how it looked, and everything to do with how it felt. Looking back on the wedding day, Carola wrote me “We had a great time at the wedding and found the day to be really special and magical.“

I totally overdid my lunch and can’t wait to have another look at the pictures after work today. I simply cannot understand what magic you have done to make us look so great.”
