ARTFULLY modern, saturated in STORY.
With each release of my camera’s shutter, I have been entrusted with something precious and fleeting: a breath in time, an adventure far grander than you may have realized. And so it is with the utmost care that I reflect back to you - the most beautiful representation of that moment.
My background in photographic art collides with a documentary approach, producing expressive images that honour your unique story.

“Who would have thought that a Brazilian marrying a Frenchman would one day have a Hawaiian girl and a Finnish son-in-law?

Destination + International weddings
International weddings are close to my heart.
There’s something truly special about bringing together friends and family from all across the globe. When people gather from near and far to celebrate one couple, that bride and groom must be two extraordinary humans. And for that reason, I’m always humbled to be part of their wedding, honored to be the one documenting their day.

Cortona is a charming town in Toscana, Italy, soaked in history having been part of the Etruscan territories and rich in Renaissance art and architecture.
What an awesome day, Quynh and Duy’s wedding has been! Full of laughter, dear friends, creative urban portraits, emotions running high.
Rosendals Trädgård is an oasis for sustainability, growing and enjoyment. This place is absolutely fabulous! Maybe one of the coolest venues I’ve ever shot a wedding at.

Bee and Abe are a fun and warm-hearted Australian couple. Zanzibar was one of many stops in their long elopement adventures in Africa and Europe. This gorgeous island was also the place they decided to celebrate their wedding with a photo session on the beach.
There is a simple, yet enthralling beauty in Nordic weddings.
There’s a calmness that surrounds my couples on their wedding day. I believe it rises, in essence, from the ability to find pleasure and contentment in simple things. There’s that intimate atmosphere shaped by being surrounded by good friends and the closest family. I am truly blessed to call this place my home.

Wine-Tasting Wedding at Hirvihaara Manor
I look back on Reetta and Heikki’s day at Hilton Helsinki Kalastajatorppa and can not help but smile. I mean, the wedding was awesome. But so much more than that, getting to know this couple and their families was such a wonderful experience.
The style of this wedding is simple, with a monochromatic color palette and mid-century modern designs. The day felt so natural, relaxed, and uncomplicated, with slow-paced program, dear friends, and delicious food.
Lilli and Heikki's wedding decor was full of quirky details: the fuchsia color palette, the transparent chairs, the pink flamingos peeking from far behind the ceremony arch, or the attic badger with bandages over his head!
Hirvihaaran Kartano estate is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Finland. I would say it is particularly well suited for international weddings.

Ice Chapel Wedding at Northern Lights Ranch
Winters in Finland can be quite magical. In all fairness, not all days are quite as awesome as this one. But we were truly blessed with the perfect weather for Jenny and Sampa’s wedding.
Sanna and Julien’s short civil ceremony took place at Pyhän Birgitan Puisto, next to the open sea. There used to be a statue there, named “Onni,” which means “Luck.” And Sanna and Julien used its pedestal to sign their marriage license. I hope that’s a sign of good luck to them.
if you’re looking for a place to get married in Levi, Lapland, then Northern Lights Ranch might be the coolest option. I’ve experienced this place a few weeks ago when photographing Alexandra and Mykhaylo’s wedding and loved it.
If you’ve read the “About” section of my website, you might already know that I have a background in Urban Planning. Studying Architecture had a big influence over my photography work. It taught me how to see space, texture, interaction of light, and perspective. It also shaped my perception of urban space, and gave me courage to express myself.
I simply cannot hide my love for photographing city weddings, and I thrive when shooting portraits in urban spaces.

Wedding at the Coupole Suite at Hotel St. George
Pilvi and Joonas specifically wanted us to take wedding portraits with urban vibe. I loved that idea. We had so much fun waking down the historical Sofiankatu street for a short portrait session between the ceremony and dinner.
The most essential element of Krista and Leo’s day has been the intimacy of celebrating their wedding just with their parents. They chose a beautiful setting by booking the Coupole Suite at St. George Hotel, aiming for a simple yet elegant ambiance.
When asked what about my style of photography captures their interest, Susanna + Felix wrote:
"We were both super impressed with the way you capture / create such a wonderful atmosphere in your pictures! They seem so... warm!
In the portraits, one can really get a sense of the chemistry, the intimacy between the couple; one can sense the affection they have for each other without it becoming "too much". In a way, the same goes for the party pictures: we don´t know any of the couples you photographed, but looking at the pictures still made us smile and feel warm inside (hope that doesn´t sound too cheesy).
You have a great eye for detail without missing the general mood.
You show people in a kind, respectful, yet often funny and way; and you bring across all the emotions that a day like this brings about."
